if i just walked straight up to a girl and say "i like u, i know we havnt talked much but...i wanna get to know u better, can i have ur email?" would this scare them away? because this girl from school i kinda like....sometimes stares at me down the halls...but i dont know if she likes me....shes very shy tho...i dont wanna scare her

Be careful... shy girls do not like to be put on the spot... but at the same time I'm a shy girl and I know that I would love to know if a guy likes me... so go up and chat to her, make opportunities to see her and chat and then once she feels comfortable to give her email address to you then ask her... it will make her feel good, and you will not scare her away by being to "agressive". You will soon see if she likes you as well... go for it!!!!!!!!!!

okay...wow. That would be my reaction if a guy did that to me. Now, you say she's shy. Is this from experience? Does she act nervous around other people? If so, then she probably is shy. Or is she just quiet around people? There's a difference between shy and quiet. The key is SUBTLETY when around shy girls. If you have classes with her, go up to her one day and ask her what the homework was. If you don't have classes with her and you just see her, go up to her, but DON'T say "I like you ...can I have your email" right off the bat. Say "hey, I've seen you around"...and then compliment her on something she has on or something she owns and relate that with yourself. But again, there is a HUGE difference between shy and quiet. Make sure you can tell which one she is.

Lol you dont wanna scare her but that aproach you mentioned will scare a shy person. It seems too pushy. Start with introducing yourself, small talk, greetings etc and THEN once the ice is broken you can ask for email address etc.

Just say something like "How r u doing? Have your homework done? Do you have any tests/exams coming? I know we havn't talked much, but I see you around here all the time. I like you're wearing your hair like this. Always looks pretty. Do you wanna chat sometimes? Do u have email? " She will give you the email.

You wont scare her, she will see you as strong and positive Male energy. Although she will see you as forward,it will also create a view of you in her mind as an image of Power. Just retain this power image by, always being positive in your words. This will be accomplished by you telling yourself 100 times per day in a mirror, that you are a good and positive person. yeah that would scare her away~! just be casual and ask nicely or ask around your friends to see if they know her email or number or just ask her by prying it out of her. Good luck.
