If you are good friends, and he is not an immature child, it shouldn't affect your friendship. If he doesn't respond, it may be uncomfortable for a little while, but you should still be able to remain friends.
However, if he does like you too, and chances are he does, than you may have found Mr. Right.
Remember, most guys will not hang out with a girl that they don't like. There must already be chemistry between you or else he wouldn't be hanging out with you.

I think you should let him know either by words of mouth or actions that you would like the relationship to take the next step. There is no harm in trying - at least you get peace of mind.

its hard when theres a good friendship concerned but i always go by the view (even though i suck at it myself!) that you should take risks in life. better to know and work things out if they don't go your way than fall for him completely and then kick yourself later on in never knowing if you could have actually been. and if you tell him and he's interested then thats even better :-)

you should tell him before its too late!!!!!!!! you would feel guilty for not saying you like him a lot when he gets a girlfriend and if he is a real friend even if you say to him you like a lot and he doesn't want your relationship with him more than just friend he would always become your friend
