I would call the Hawaii Dmv and see, some states write them off after so many years. I don't think you would get arrested and extradited to Hawaii for a few tickets but they can put a flag on your license.

A few things will happen, a bench warrant for not showing up to court top pay your fine, then if you get stopped you could go to jail. Mainly it will prevent you from getting a license in any other state until you have cleared up (PAID THE FINES) any outstanding tickets. These will not just go away. Be responsible and take care of them. Also, no state will just write them off after a few years.

You could lose your license in whatever state you are in now, and not be allowed to get it in any other state if you move again. They could impound your present vehicle, even if it isn't the one that got the tickets. They could put you in jail for who knows how long...They may not catch you...but is it worth the chance??? Contact Hawaii DMV and find out the charges and pay them.

Your driving license will be suspended, which will stop you from getting a license in the new state you live in. If you just don't pay, it will be sent to a collection agency, and they will contact you about paying, whether it be garnishment, liens on banking accounts, liens on income tax refund. Why not pay the fines, it's the right thing to do.

They might be a warrant now!, if you get pulled over, wherever you are... they might show up as unpaid fines and the Cops can take you in to see if they want to extradite you or make you promise to pay... and they can take the car your driving too...

I was surprised how long they stay on your record!

>>>>I experienced the same thing!<<<< i suggest you call and get these things in order at least try to make a payment plan with the courts in Hawaii...

Seriously get them in order, they can and they did me come around and bite you on the ***!.

Best wishes!
