Get off Yahoo answers and call the doctor.
When this happened to my wife, we learned it was 2 babies instead of 1.

Hi and Congrats on your News...first of all look back on the last few days and see if she has been doing hard work, moving things, climbing, etc. if so she needs to REST more and try and put her feet up as much as possible....second a woman can spot and even bleed during her pregnancy but it is always safe to consult your OB-GYN to make sure mom and baby are safe. Third if this spotting is very Light and not lasting long it very well just could be the cleanse of her body to stop menstruating for the next 8months to make enough blood supply for placenta and baby to live and grow.
i would go get checked if your to concern and or worried.
again Congrats on your new little one and my best to you and your wife!

I depends, bright red light spotting she needs to go to the doctor right away. If its dark brown it is common during the first couple of months of pregnancy. She should still be seen by her GYN, on a regular basis. Congratulations!!!

Don't ask us Yahoo knuckleheads serious questions!
We're all unemployed drunk nerds...or w're psychotic!
For God's sake...take your wife to an Obstetrician! (that's a doctor),
The chances that anyone on this site is an actual doctor are about four in thirty-three million.
Good Luck!
