It is an inherent weakness in any human being , to feel scary in a lonely , deserted , creepy place , at night . What it is , nobody can describe . This unknown fear , of the presence of a negative force , in some places , is described as ghostly , by the normal humans. Usually these places are avoided by people and termed haunted by ghosts.
Just the opposite , there may be places , where there is so much of positive forces , that people will gladly stay at these places , any time of the day or night , to get solace and satisfaction.
Similar experiences are there with some persons also. A godly or saintly persons presence is seeked by most of us . Whereas we try to avoid a negative person.
This is the basis of belief in the God and Ghosts in living beings. I am mentioning this because , dogs , who are sensitive like humans , are also seen to respond to such stimuli.

The name God refers to the deity held by monotheists to be the supreme reality. God is believed to be the sole creator of the universe.
Many arguments for and against the existence of God have been proposed and rejected by philosophers, theologians, and other thinkers. In philosophical terminology, existence of God arguments concern schools of thought on the epistemology of the ontology of God.God, as a humanised figure, usually taking the form of a man.
Approximately 54% of the world's population identifies that god exists. 15% identified as non-religious. Only 3.8% identified as atheist.
Now The Question Is About Ghosts ?????
A ghost is usually defined as the apparition of a deceased person, frequently similar in appearance to that person, and encountered in places he or she frequented, or in association with the person's former belongings. The word "ghost" may also refer to the spirit or soul of a deceased person, or to any spirit or demon
Why do one believes in god n ghosts?
There are many religious epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata, etc. which indicates the presence of god and demons.
It is simply your devotion that you believe in it or not.

Ghosts and deities are a God of The Gaps. People use them to explain that which has no mundane explanation at the time. For example people of the Hellenistic era believed a God named Helios pulled the Sun across the sky with his chariot and this created night and day. People of Norse culture believed that thunder and lightning were caused by Thor wielding his giant hammer. And these explanations stuck for a long time. Nowadays though we know that night and day is caused by the earth revolving on it's axis as it orbits the sun. We also know that thunder and lightning are the result of hot and cold air fronts meeting.
Sadly the old ways die hard and people who fear change find comfort in them. Look at how long it took for the flat earth society to go out of business.

It is individual faith be living God and Ghosts. Both exists in the world. I have experienced both during my life time. In both cases they are extreme if you try to find out. You will, in course of time, lose material world and start pursuing the truth about God and Ghosts. If at all you are very much interested to pursue then go for God not Ghosts. Ghosts will help you very quickly but you have to repay them in different manner; otherwise they will destroy you. God will come to you very slowly. you can get all sort of help but will not ask for anything in return. This is the basic of God and Ghosts. I relinquish both of them. I have to live in this material world. Therefore I would not like to be materialistic. Have faith in God that is sufficient. Pray HIM at least once in a day. He will take care of you. First of all you must "Ramaskar" your mother if she alives otherwise "Ramaskar" her photograph everyday and ask her to keep your "day" happy. Your mother will bliss with that. Be happy.

So you want to say that both are halucinations. One day you will become a ghost (I mean the way people put it, when you die you become a ghost!) and see God for yourself. However it would have been too late to become mature and serious. I honestly do not wish that for you to happen.

God is a given. Ghosts or spirits are, for me, very likely to exist. The reason for this belief is faith, with a combination of logic.
