Because it is much easier to sit still and eat that it is to burn off calories faster than you jam them into your mouth.

It can be hard, but, it does not have to be.
A person got too heavy by being undisciplined and uninformed about food and exercise.
Instilling discipline on ones self is not always easy, and, telling yourself "that was then, but this is now" is much more productive than telling yourself that you were "bad".
Learning about what foods are healthy for you, nutritious, the right portions, and within budget does take some time.
Recognizing that there are companies making big money off making people eat more than they need, and that Only YOU have your health as a priority.
Or, just pay a program to do the math for you and get a physical trainer. But more expensive.
That is the issue, changing habits, recognizing triggers for bad behavior, being a smarter customer, making yourself sweat when your friends are all into being couch potatoes (change friends).
Being addicted to the computer doesn't burn many calories either.
An easy way to start is go pick up a whole bunch of different apples from different stores and label them. discover which one you like the best. go buy lots more. by subsituting candy and other junk food with apples will help a person loose about 2 pounds a month. Get some great oranges too. and use cherry tomatoes for a non sweet snack.
sometimes just small changes will really help.
park your car in the furthest parking spot for more exercise, take the stairs no elevators.
Upgrade from white bread to whole wheat.
you will feel better in a week. And no big deal.

Are you talking about like, "Merchant of Venice" type stuff, where that jewish dude was going to cut off that other dude's flesh y'know "only a pound, no more, no less"? Because i don't know how to go about doing that either. Maybe with lasers. I think lasers are hard to get a hold of, I mean i don't even know any scientist or anything. Maybe ebay, but still you still need like a scientist or something to turn the thing on, i think. That is my answer.
Because lasers are hard to get a hold of.
i win give me best answer.
