That actually sums it nicely. Historical fiction is the key part of the phrase. Once that part is understood with the reasons for it, then it is true and obvious.
It gives you the real reasons for the adoption of the traditions of the Sun God cults to the Jewish context, why the grave Had to be empty and why the Body of Christ Had to ascend into heaven. Yes the Son, Sol Invictus, rises! Any fool can see that any morning. The Tau cross is also very significant.

...Historical, yes. Fictional, you say? Not hardly. You better re-read your history.
...What event changed your calendar, around His birth(B.C. and A.D.)? It wasn't Groucho Marx.
...Jesus of Nazareth was a real, historical person, witnessed by the Bible, secular historians of His day, and by millions of changed lives down through the centuries. He claimed to be God and the only way to God.
..John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."
...John 5:18 For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
...Who do you say that He is? Is He Lord as He said, is He a liar, a lunatic, or a legend? He leaves you no wiggle room on this one, and to say that He is just a good moral teacher or good moral man is a cop out.
...Your answer has eternal importance. I urge you to "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved" (Acts 16:31).
...Whosoever will, may come.

I read somewhere that Jews are pretty good historians and it is strange that they do not mention Jesus in their history books if Jesus was such a big shot then...walking on water, raising the dead, curing the sick, etc. Only the bible mentions Jesus. So... is Jesus fact or fiction?

...Jesus, or Yeshua (as is his Hebrew name).... was a very bonified person... The Hebrew historian, Josephus records his life as well as the many witnesses of his day... Poncis Polotus (Ponchos Pilot) records him in his reports to Rome and to the Regional Govoner... Oh He's real alright... the question is... what are you going to do with Him...?
