Where is Jesus suppose to rapture all these righteous people, when the bible clearly tells us that the meek shall inherit the earth. The way I take the scriptures is one will be taken and the other left, is the one left is the surviving one. Because Jesus' disciples ask him straight out where they were going to be taken. His reply was, where the eagles are and the carcass is. That to me sounds like a place of doom.

I feel very confident. I believe in God, I DON'T believe he would hurt us in that way. If we are made in God's image, and I would NEVER hurt my OWN children. How can I be BETTER than God?!!? I feel more compassion and empathy toward people here and COMPLETELY love my own children with no question. If God made me in His image, why would he make me better than Him? He wouldn't. The Bible was written and passed down by MEN. We all have God within us and need to see what we believe ourselves, without others telling us. I would NEVER leave my children behind for any reason. NEVER!!!! Why would He do that to us, His children? Why would He not understand, or not forgive us? When we are so willing to forgive one another. We are not better than Him! He made us in His image, therefore we think like Him! We could not be more kind than Him! He will not leave anyone behind. It is a test. A test for everyone to believe as they find best. I would never punish any of my kids for finding different beliefs or differences, and I am not better than God. So, we will all be safe. As well, you.

How do you know the rapture may even occur? You have not used scripture to support your question my friend. Edit and I will think about responding.

In the Buddhist world, there is no creation and no destruction of the universe. So there is no apocalypse. How do you destroy that which is metaphysically a construction of the mind with no objective reality? You cannot, you must escape samsara through the power of Buddha and his promise of eventual salvation through nirvana.

As a Christian, I challenge you to come up with the exact wording from the Bible : "rapture". - I have a hunch that you CAN'T !!!

Are you joking? If you study true history - not the bible - you will know that most of the things written in the bible (in the book of Revelation) were supposed to happen within ten years of the book being written. There will be no apocolypse - unless it's brought on by man. Jesus will not save anyone - and there will be no lake of fire for non beleivers. Christianity has caused much evil. free thinking is the cure.
