no comparison JL ws7 is far superior.

W7 is by far better than the kicker, JL W7 is louder, and sounds much better and way more durable. No contest

actually the w7 sounds horrible compared to the w6 or w3. the 2007 l7 is much better sound wise than the w7

From my experience go with JL!!!
Unless you want muddy bass then go with Kicker (thats why I sold my two 12!!! and believe me, I had more than enough power!!!).
JL, Rockford Fosgate and Boston Acoustics for better sound quality.

neither sound all that great, so thats a tie. but the w7 is by far louder and by far the better sub. however, IMO both are overated.
