This is rather on a tangent but I just want to say it to see how the Christian audience reacts. If the Christian god exists than we must be one of his most failed experiments. I mean, we kill each other, lie, pollute his/her planet, and then have the hypocrisy to pray to him like we deserve his favor. "God Bless America"? what is that?

They fear being left behind. Most of the Christians on here are 100% sure where they are going, and 100% sure where everyone else is going.

Hmm...here I am thinking that committing murder and everything else you listed was a choice. You don't HAVE to do those things. Some people just choose to do the easier (in some cases, more fun) things. Not all of us are out there killing people. Like everything, it's a choice. That's the whole reason God forgives if you ask and mean it. There's nothing hypocritical about that unless you think it's a "get out of jail" free card and continue to mess up thinking you're all good.
And the God Bless America thing. It's just a saying man. It's like God speed. If you don't like it, don't say it or read it. It's not that big of a deal. It's just policiticans saying what they think the conservation majority wants to hear. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ah,nationalism...religous superiority...but baby, once this rock goes all the countries get wiped clean, and all the religions are forced to meet their assorted makers, we shall see which ones are right and wrong. Till then i suggest we stop killing each other over things no man can prove.
And on the big "if" that christians happen to be more right than other faith's then yes, i would say we are quite a failure as a whole. That doesn't mean we can't still do great things on earth.

You need Jesus. But actually we that is all of us deserve death. But Jesus paid that price for us, so we wouldn't have to. Man is not perfect and he/she will never be until Jesus returns and takes His bride away. Why don't you come on over Jesus has enough love for you. He died on a cross for you, He knew that you would feel that way about Him and His chosen ones and still He died for you. If you don't change your mind and except Him you choose to go to hell. You will remember this day when I told you this and you will wish that you changed your mind then and repented for your sins. This is not only to you, but to who ever else sees this message that is posted here. Could you just imagine for one moment that everything that you done wrong in your life, all the mean things that you have done, every time you said no to Jesus (becoming a Christian) ect. ect. ect. these things will be played back to you time and time again forever. There is no end to forever. I am asking those of you that feel that tug on your heart to believe. That is the Holy Spirit telling you that what I am saying is right. I don't want any of you to go to hell. Please except Jesus into your heart.

FAITH.
Yes it is a cruel world, because some people are blinded by the Truth.
We are not an experiment, we are part of God's perfect plan.
We are created by Him, for Him.
Because we believe in Jesus and accept Him we earn the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)
So I don't consider myself a hypocrite when I pray to my Father.
definition of GRACE: God's free and unmerited
favor toward sinful humanity.
Just humble yourself and pray.

Man is responsible for his own life. he has a free will to either recognise God as the creator and sustainer of all things or not. That is faith.
he has a choice. its up to him wether he accepts it or rejects it. If he accepts...then God becomes his strength and guide. if not, then he is like the beasts that perish. The true God will be far, far from him. Oh!! But wait a minute!! What happens when THAT person comes face to face with possible death? Why...he cries out to God, Thats what he does, and then has the audacity to 'blame' God for all the calamity in life!
God will not be mocked. He does NOT force people to love Him, its their choice!! If they choose to live their own lives doing their own thing without a thought or regard or respect for the true and living God...then....sadly enough...theres not a great deal to be done. man is man...left to himself he is his own greatest enemy. God does not want man to die like the beasts, but to have the opportunity to be part of a world that will one day be filled with His kingdom and peace....the world is an evil place...all evil will be done away with....so if one cares enough about his life, he will search for the truth and will find it. It takes prayer, humbleness and sincerity.......and as for humnaity and the world, God made everything, and everything is under HIS control. we are so small and insignificant in His eyes, but His love is worthy of giving glory and praise to. That was the ONLY reason man was ever made, to give praise and thanks to God, and to do as He has commanded, for a peaceful and harmonious life.

We believe by faith. And those who serve God don't murder, steal, etc. We follow the Ten commandments, that's what keeps us from being "failed". None of us are perfect, we all sin, but with God we are forgiven. And the whole God Bless America thing I don't get it. I suppose it's like saying God Bless the Queen.

Firstly, we are not His experiment, we are His children, all of us, even you.
Secondly we NEVER deserve His favor. EVERYONE falls short of the Glory of God, everyone. But His love is so unconditional that even with all of the evil that some of us commit, when we pray (communicate with God) and repent (completly turn away from that sin) he forgives us.

Well, because of sin, we don't do things God's way but when we get right with Him and learn His ways... we come to appreciate the planet He created and venture to become a good steward. When I see you are made in the image of God, then I don't desire to kill you but to love you.
His Word transforms me if I care to seek Him. True prayer is not a petition of a wish list. It's an intimate conversation with God who loves me and desires to teach me so I can truly have an abundant life in which He created me for. I don't expect God will bless America... It doesn't look like corporately America cares about God.
My prayers are more like....
"Thank you" and "Teach me"...

There are evil forces working overtime and then some to get God's creation to commit sinful acts. Everyone seems to forget about the one responsible for the degradation of the human race.....Satan.....but don't worry, God has something in store for Satan messing with his Holy Plan.

We failed by choice. That is why He sent His Son, to die for us so that if we accept His blood as a covering for our sins He will forgive us and receive us back into His family.
