Why are you so into knowing how tall he is? Isn't asking him once enough? He did tell you that he was over 6 feet tall right? Just leave it at that. I would get annoyed if someone was constantly asking me the same question over and over again. Especially if that person asked me in person and when they didn't get the answer they wanted they CONTINUED to harass me through email and what not just to know how tall I am. I say, get over it and stop asking how tall people are. I don't think he was necessarily offended but maybe annoyed?

If you ask this to you a short guy he may feel ofended. It may be considered rude on your part. But this boy is quite tall. The reason for his not responding may be some thing else.Move on

everyone can be offended by the mentioning of their extremes, because almost everyone desires to be normal height, weight, skin & hair color, etc.. You have to realize that if he doesn't want to be tall, bringing his height up can bring up feelings that would be felt in an overweight person that was called fat. Its hard to know what someone is thinking, but I know that if someone brings up one of the things I'm insecure about, I get upset. I would avoid talking about it until he brings it up.

I don't think it's rude. But maybe this guy just isn't happy with his height. I've asked plenty of guys how tall they are..and they've never been bothered by it.

Maybe you should have done more than ask... I mean: include why you want to know. Are you sending him pants or are you picky about the height of the guys you date? Maybe he misunderstood you and needs to know more.

It sounds like you haven't met him yet. Maybe he is short & doesn't see the importance of height. I would say he was probably offended.

Unless he's short, or shorter than you, I'd think twice, but if the guy is slightly taller/ much taller then go ahead! But don't worry, I think he likes you to think that he is ignoring you.
