I'm drunk too but not that drunk, she threw up everywhere, tried to stand up and then hit her head on a ledge when she fell back down. She's breathing okay, I try to wake her up and take her to the bathroom but she can't move. Should I just let her stay on the floor or try to move her? I'm trying to wake her up but she just mumbles. Is alcohol poisoning really serious?

don't let her lay on her back, because if she throws up again, she can choke on her vomit. try and get her to a bed, or you can just leave her on the floor if she's hard to move or doesn't want to move. try to keep talking to her to get more of a responce out of her than just mumbling, and if she can speak words ok, i would say she will be ok. try to get her to drink some water.
the good thing is, is that she threw up, so she's getting all that bad stuff out of her system. take care of her, and keep an eye on her.
she probably just wants to sleep it off, that's the greatest thing in the world when you are that drunk...is having someone to take care of you...knowing you are in good hands, and sleeping. so just take care of her, try talking to her, and let her relax.

I've sent a couple people to the hospital before whom I thought were suffering from alcohol poisoning. It's really a judgment call... since it takes the liver a few hours to process each drink, you can expect her to get even worse soon if she's had one or more drinks in the past hour because those haven't even hit her yet. If she becomes completely unresponsive, there's a problem.

A good tip.. try to test her motor skills. Ask her to find something that's in her possession (ID, money, license). If she can't figure that out, there's a problem.

Turn her on her side if she's not already there so she doesn't choke on her vomit if she throws up, and keep an eye on her to make sure she's breathing. Good luck.

Alcohol poisoning can kill you. She probably threw up the alcohol that wasn't absorbed by her body. That's good. At least she's responding by mumbling. If she can move any part of her limbs, she'll be fine. Just watch her.

I believe alchohol contains an additive that makes you throw up to prevent alcohol poisoning, but that won't work if you just down a bottle of vodka in 4 minutes. Pace yourself when drinking-- unless you want to die. There's no point in drinking as much as you can in the least amount of time if you're not conscious enough to feel the buzz.

you want to call an ambulance. If she is that inebriated then she may have alcohol poisoning. now to not practice the actual undeniable actuality that she hit her head. No telling how not straightforward and in spite of if she does awaken, she is inebriated and particular received't do not ignore that she is truly damage. i'd in my view say that she should be seen. If she continues to be exceeded out then you definately favor to call an ambulance, if she is conscious then i'd a minimum of evaluate taking her in. yet get someone who hasn't had some thing to drink to do the using. do not favor as an instance this right into a worse problem.

It's obvesious that you're underage, call a friend, parent or 911 and take her to the hospital. It sounds like she has alcohol poisoning and maybe a concussion either of wich she could die from. Make sure she's on her side for now, just get her to a doctor asap.

Yes, alcohol poisoning can lead to death. Honestly, I would consider calling an ambulance or getting someone who isn't drinking to drive you to the hospital. Even if your friend doesn't need serious medical care in the end, waking up in the hospital will teach her a lesson.

How old are you and are you even old enough (or responsible) to be drinking in the first place? Call for help. It is not safe for your friend to be sitting there not responding and possibly drowning in her own vomit and she can die. If you are seriously asking "is alcohol poisoning really serious" then it is obvious that you are not of a mature age to even be drinking. Go get help before it is too late.

You need to keep her awake....get her some water..some thing like a cold compress....put it on her forehead...call 911! If people hit their head...it could cause them to pass out..and possibly not wake up...this is something that you don't take lightly! This is very serious.

Please call for help, if this happens again..and keep a watch on her till the paramedics get there! Be the friend, that you would want her or anybody else to be for you,if it happened to you!!!
