Ok, one of the things I am considering becoming when I grow up is a priest. Ideally I would be a shaolin monk...I dont know if this is possible because I am not Chinese, anyways, it seems like every priest Ive talked to or heard of or even people Ive talked to that studied to become a priest all were very insightful and philosophical, their words had meaning and inspiration...anyways what I am asking is what kind of priest can still get married and overall what its like to be a priest.

I feel that people are lost more than ever nowadays and need spiritual guidance and I have always had a natural profound understanding of matters of this nature.

Becoming a TAOIST shaolin monk is not a religion so much as a way of life..and I do believe in God.

The late bronze age doesnt even coincide with the time that the bible was written.. do some research before you go around using terms like that to sound intelligent...as far as goat herders, were you not taught that only the most important, and intellgent people could write back then.. this is not an answer to my question.

Catholic priests practice the disciplinary rule of celibacy. If it is a Christian priesthood you want the only option you have is the Orthodox Church. They practice optional celibacy so some of their priests are married. I hope this helps.
Peace and every blessing!

Why would you want to throw your life away like that?.........Those are false religions and dead faiths that do not worship the True God of the Bible or accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior into their lives which is the only way for salvation and eternal life. They are not true and faithful servants of God that have a true and personal relationship with their Father in heaven,..... but practice outright abominations against God in pagan ritual worship which only leads to death in the destruction of their soul. They live their lives in vein through a vision of darkness only to worship their father, the devil, who is behind the facade of their false hope of salvation.........Please, seek out the truth by praying to the True God of the Bible and asking Him what to do.........but be patient, God will answer you in His own time if you are sincere and trust in Him for His answer.

Become a born again Christian, soul winning pastor for Jesus Christ. Pastors always marry and have a family.

Also do a little research on the catholic religion and others before making a choice. Here is a great website to start with.

If you want to be useful to others you should consider getting a real education & job . Building a bridge or performing heart coronary bypasses brings more to people than spreading bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales.

If you want to be a priest, don't be a Catholic one. The Catholic Religion is famous for it's secrecy and they have admitted that a large portion of their priests are gay.
