Can you take some over the counter pills for sleeping? Not sleeping doesnt say that you are depressed. Unless you are subcon.. depressed. Take a hot bath a swallow an over the counter pill as in excedrine. See how you feel the next day. If you can sleep .. set the clock and wake up to a cup of coffee. YOu will be ok.Pills arent a cure all first of all you need to find the source of your not getting enough sleep. Stress and work. Hubby or friend might be making you feel this way.

NO And possibly yes. Maybe you're not sleeping well because you're too worried about depression. The true question here is " Am I depressed? " Well do you feel like nobody likes you, do you feel everyone is out to get you, do you think the world would be better off with out you, Do you feel like you just want to lay there and die, Do you feel that nobody cares about or understands you're feelings ? If You answered yes to any of those questions then I suggest you see a Dr. (medical) They can give you a simple test (paper) to find out. I know I've said yes to all those questions and took the test. I now take anti-depressants.

Could be depression or perhaps your mind is on overload, either way it is best for you not to rely on pills to help you sleep, some are very addictive. I know, because I am taking something every night, my depression is being treated, but my mind won't rest as I do have heaps on my plate. It worries me that I take something to help me sleep. So do what I am doing, go to the doctor and just be open and honest, he will take it from there.

It all depends. Are you under stress and alot on your mind. SOmetimes when going to bed and you have alot on your mind it makes it very difficult to sleep. I have been kind of going through this my self lately. I am trying to do my best when i lay down even if I have some personal issues. to think of more positive things to make my mind to somewhat rest. I no that it is not always that easy. but give it a shot and see what happens,

I don't think this necessarily means you have depression. Talk to the doctor about it, and don't take sleeping pills every night. They can be addictive, and make things worse.

not necessarily. there's lots of symptoms of depression. i don't think you need to realize the symptoms before you realize you're depressed. evaluate your life and your happiness. if you stay honest with yourself i think you will be able to come up with an accurate answer.
