From the kind of behaviour this girl is showing.....She seems to be one heck of a flirt.She flirts with your friends also....which means to say she is nt really interested in YOU.
Observe her behaviour for sometime.Tell her that u love her (just to see what she ll say.....dont mean it) and then see her behaviour after that. If she concentrates on you more after that,It means she s into u and she may be the one else get some other girl.

If she knows that you like her, and she still is comfortable enough to give you a hug, when your next alone with her ask how she feels about you.
Even if she doesn't want to be "more than friends", she sounds nice enough to tell you gently and it won't hurt your friendship.
