Well I don't know if you've looking around, but I would say that Jehovah, if he's all they say he is, has a pretty well-developed sense of humour.
Take a detached look at the human reproductive process, for example. Or a duck-billed platypus. There are examples all around of a truly 'dark' sense of the ridiculous !
What the Judeo-Christians have made of their 'God' is a very human entity, full of prejudice, jealousy, anger, vengeance, pettiness, you name it. I mean we are talking about an entity that sent ( according to the theory ) his "only begotten son" for the express purpose of enduring the worst, and most torturous, death currently available in the world of that time.
So, in a sense you're quite right, but please allow that this very humanness must necessarily include a sense of humour, albeit a phenominally 'black' one ! ;-)
