how can i get my hair like this?

how long does it take to grow?
what do i tell the barber
(should i see someone else?)
my hair's currently about
an inch or two above my eybrows.

oh yeah and the hair on the side of my head
(around the ears)
grows standing up and it looks weird.
why?

just take the pic to a hair dresser, and it depends how fast ur hair grows.
