Throughout highschool; college and currently, my friends and I have all gotten involved with girls that each other have slept with. We have always gotten the blessing of our friends to pursue the opportunity. Meaning, we wouldn't sleep with someone that broke one of our buddies hearts or an exwife or something. We always make sure it is cool.
As guys, we live by the golden rule, "bro's before hoes" so we aren't gonna step on one anothers toes. When it comes to females, it has been my experience that things are not so cut and dry.
Nonetheless, it is a judgement call. I know my friends and I would never compromise a friendship for a girl. However, we would also not think twice about getting with a girl that one of our boys had a relationship with.

If she's okay with it, then go for it. But make sure you ask her first. It's important if you want to keep your friendship.
Otherwise, tread VERY carefully. Even if "no feelings were hurt" on the surface, people can be possessive. Make sure you know what you're doing, because otherwise you could lose a friend for someone who may be nothing more than a fling.

I did. He was dating someone I knew casually when we met, and I was dating one of his casual friends when we met.
Turned out he wasn't compatible with the girl he was seeing, and I wasn't compatible with the guy I was seeing. Once we were both single about six months later, we started pursuing each other.
We've been happily married for four and a half years now.
