Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
It means he is a fruitcake. Animal rights activists have started using this as their new ploy. Oh, yes and that Hare Krishna cult. This is just evidence that you can't believe everything you hear. Not even from "professionals". By the way, those hormones aren't poisonous either. That's just a sales ploy for the new "organic" trend. The hormones are harmless to humans or the FDA wouldn't allow it. Here is the FDA consumer information on steroids and injected hormones...

No - meat is not poison - poison is poison and meat is meat.. however, calling meat poison is what the speaker was hoping would be a suitable exaggeration to attract your attention.. if you are concerned, you could switch to organic beef... but my guess is that in the long run, any food can be called poison in that it will all eventually kill you, no matter what you eat.. it make take 110 years, but it all catches up with you - - the only thing worse than imbibing the food we eat, is not eating at all - that will kill you quickest- - don't sweat the small stuff - - and make sure you go out and have some real fun times in whatever time you have..

I'm a vegetarian and even I wouldn't say red meat is poison! That seems kind of extreme. I guess animal products are high in saturated fats which are not good for ya, but that is why you should always try and eat lean meat. I think in moderation red meat can be part of a healthy balanced diet. Studies have shown that vegetarians do usually have lower rates of cancer, heart disease etc. But often many vegetarians eat healthier in many different ways, it's not just to do with eliminating meat! Everything in moderation I would say.
I choose not to eat meat because I love animals too much and because of factory farming, and the damage it does to the environment....

I've heard that opinion before- & I think it's a rather exteme view (alittle more common to vegitarians- than most dietitions however). Too much of ANYTHING isn't good for us...-& red meat is no exception. But if your keep a balanced diet, get plenty of sleep & exersize, -a nice steak dinner, or a Big Mac once in awhile- isn't going to kill you. As always, moderation is the key. :)

I've heard that before--from nuts like the guy giving your seminar.
Red meat is an excellent source of nutrition.
He's probably a vegan or a democrat.

It can be for your digestive system if it is not stored and refrigerated properly. Must be fresh and best if cooked properly.
Some people have an intolerance and an aversion to it so in that way it can be 'poison'.
We are all slightly different biochemically.

My government professor in college told me that eating red meat was bad because of the hormones they inject into cows. that's why people are getting so fat and stupid. oh yeah and milk contains the same hormones. i believe it too. who knows what the hell we put into our bodies. i only eat redmeat when i crave a burger, however 99% percent of the time i eat chicken or no meat at all.
