Does it always have to be about facts or faith? Can it ever be about enjoying life and being happy like tonight?

Panther: As a Christian, I can tell you, that any time you have "religion" as a topic of interest, you will have differences of opinion. Notice the title of this YA section re: Religion & Spirituality. This is where the conflict arises. "Religion" denotes "legalism" - man-made "dos and don'ts", which promotes arguments from people comparing his or her own deeds or works with others to attempt to be "better than" or "holier-than-thou". On the other hand, "Spirituality" will promote attitudes about enjoying life and being happy [content] . The Irish fight about religion BUT celebrate St. Patrick's Day together over a pint of Guiness - go figure !!!

No, it doesn't and I wasn't aware that it was a fight. We born again Christians are just out to spread the word of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is not our choice of people listen to us, but many love to voice their opinions. We do enjoy our lives. In fact if just one person becomes saved from our witnessing or testimony, life can be great for that person and it we will win a soul for Jesus. This makes us true Christians very happy to know another person will be going to Heaven. AMEN!

It would be easy, although a bit selfish, to just mind our own business and let people be responsible for themselves and their standing with God, but the fact is that Jesus commands us to preach to people. He puts the responsibility on the ones who know the truth to spread it to others. Ignoring that responsibility puts ourselves at risk to the Almighty. We can't just sit by and watch people around us who don't have a clue. It's just plain irresponsible! Then comes the problem of which interpretation of God's word is accurate! When giving the right or wrong information can mean someone's eternal life or death it becomes a serious matter and sparks sometimes heated debate.

People suffering from delusional mental disorder feel insecure and threatened when they come in contact with people that have different or no delusions. They often react aggressively.
Zyprexa (use only as directed, see a Doctor) can often treat this form of mental disorder.

I don't know about others, but I leave the judgement to someone other than me...be it my peer or a supreme one, I prefer to try not to judge especially in the area of religion.

You mean the Yahoo section or actual religion? (Either way, I always try to have fun and enjoy life! But I'm not religious.)

Religion should be about personal enlightenment, compassion, family, community service and the meaning of life. Spirituality is a way of life, not a set of politics.

that's a nice goal to strive for. but happy people are happy, angry people are angry. it has very little to do with what religion you are.

also people with faith constantly deny it and then try to prevent the happiness of others when they aren't harming anyone.

Only on the P&S pannel does it have to be a fight. In real life, I think (and hope) people are more reasonable with their differences.
