Did you did it yourself or did you go to some tax preparation website? Did you do it online? Have you send in your Form 8453-OL? If you did it online you need to send in that form. Your electronically transmitted return will not be considered complete until the IRS receives the
Form 8453-OL. If you filed a joint return, your spouse must also sign this form.

Normally, it takes 2 - 3 weeks for a refund from an electronically filed return to be received, assuming you elected direct deposit. If you did not, add a bit more. If you did not do a self-directed signature then you will need to send in the additional forms with the signatures.
If you actually earned more income than you reported then you will not get extra money back but will probably owe more in tax and then added penalties and interest (with potential for criminal charges for tax evasion).

"Extra-37" is right---if you did not report all of your income you may end of owing instead of getting all of your refund. They will eventually find out if you did not report all of your income from your W2's, although it may take several months. Then you will get a notice saying that there was a difference in your AGI (Adjusted Gross Income) based on the additional W2's that they received showing you had more income. You are not suppose to purposely leave income off of your tax return! But, if for some reason the additonal income puts you in a higher Earned Income Credit bracket, they may find that you are actually due more of a refund based on the additional income.

Since you already filed your taxes on the 9th, I'm sure it is already processing and you should get your refund on March 23---according to the efile chart if you had your refund direct deposited. So they may not have caught your mistake yet, but if they find errors at a later date---which they always do---they will contact you and send you a notice and you may actually owe them based on the additional income.
