It really depends on where you live. If you live in the Los Angeles area, there is a flower district downtown. They sell flowers wholesale and in bunches. It depends on what kind of flowers you buy too.
Normally, when we buy roses to sell at school, we buy them in bundles of 2 dozen roses for about $11.50.

Most wholesalers will not sell to 'walk ins' but only to retailers. Best bet is to go to a farmer's market, where you can find fresh flowers at reasonable prices. One of the best places to buy flowers is Costco. Sounds goofy, but they have lovely flowers at very reasonable prices. Orchid leis, two for $8.95, 16-rose bouquets for $14.95 etc. They don't have a huge choice, but what they have is prime and much less than you'll pay anywhere else.

It makes LOTS of difference where you live!! I live in Indiana & one of the more reasonable places to buy flowers is Kroger, a local grocery store.
Usually, wholesalers either do not sell to consumers directly OR they want you to BUY so much in bulk that we would never even think about buying so many!!!! At least at once!!
