No. You can go to a place like Bass Pro and buy blackpowder guns. If you are worried about breaking the law so much then why don't you just go to Bass Pro or a store like that and buy some gun powder pellets. My Dad has a blackpowder gun and he showed me (its been a while so excuse me if I'm off a little!) that you put 1-2 blackpowder pellets then you put in the bullet. After using the ram rod you just aim and shoot!

No, blackpowder firearms in .50cal are not covered by this ridiculous law. Even .50cal pistol rounds are exempt. The only cartridge that is banned is the .50BMG technically known as the 12.7x99mm round.

in some states it would be if these stupid laws are passed. would prohibit any .50 cal projectile, muzzle loader, pistol blackpowder, and even shotgun slugs.another reason to keep writing senators and congressmen and women.
