You can meet people on the internet, just like you can meet someone on the way home from the grocery store.

It's easier for some people to get the ball rolling.
I've dated two guys I met on the internet and they didn't work out. But I've also dated 6 guys that I met offline and none of them worked out either.

But to answer your question, I know several people who've met others online and are married now.

Yes, I'm one of them and I just went to the wedding of a friend who met her mate on the internet. I think it is better than thinking you're going to meet your "soulmate" at a bar. Just remember, there are jerks and dangerous people everywhere. Take safety measures such as don't give out your address or too much personal information until you have met and know each other well enough. Meet at a public place and make sure you are not followed home until you feel safe with him. I actually paid for a background check on my guy online. His background was as clean as a whistle. You know, it's the same thing you should do no matter how you meet someone.

I know of people who have met through some of the dating services on line and I can't say it ended in marriage, but they are living together. That's about the same to alot of people. Is marriage the end all and be all. If the relationship works, it's the same. So, if you are looking to do it, it's just as good as some of the other ways to meet people, probably better. Ok, I'm married, but if it were to end, I would certainly try it.

In recent times, there are instances of persons meeting on internet and marrying. However, one should not jump to conclusion. One should meet the would be spouse in person and know likes and dislikes, nature, etc. and if everything seems to be fine then only one should marry.

Good luck and God Bless.

yes but I dont support it one bit. The problem with internet is that it kills peoples need to build social skills. Social Skills is something that will soon die if people dont get off their computers and get outside. By all means, find that one you love any way you can but I recommend it outside of the PC.
