Each and everyone does some mistake or the other and we choose God "ONLY for demands and confessions".
There are stages when people goto God, washing sins on a daily basis, weekly basis, monthly and annual. For people who keep working(cheating others) day in and day out throughout their lives, they choose old age to confess such that they can get moksha. Remember Ravana was bad, but, he said "Rama" before taking his last breath and Rama blessed his way to heaven.
Striving for Work/Fame at Young age is better and Striving for God at old age is best(after all when you pray, you pray with utmost concentration rather than saluting God for just a few seconds before rushing to work).

U can strive for God at any age. He is ready to take u in His Fold. He loves u unconditionally. Only u need to have wisdom that God is ur true friends and permanent pal. The choice is urs. Old age is even better because u have seen life and tried all means to succeed and be happy in life and have realised that there is vaccum in life without God howsoever wealthy u may be.

Sometimes a person has to go through a whole lotta hell to even know that heaven exists. It's obvious that trial and tribulation are valuable, it's no less true in terms of faith. There are those who are raised in environments that foster belief from an early age, and there are those that are not. God decides when a person will strive and when they will not, just as God decides those who will thrive and who will not, what's important is that we heed the call when it comes.

The sooner the better. You don't know when this precious human body will be snatched away from you.
You owe it to your soul. Do it today only.
In fact old age because of the attachments that it has acquired is very difficult for practicing of devotion.
Old people are showing off when they are doing all the rituals, just to look as if they are serious. But you start doing true devotion and the first objection will come from the old people. It is because they want you to care for them in old age. If you seriously start doing devotion, which is a full time job( by heart ), they will feel neglected. They are very wise!

We can easily mould the clay when it is soft. This can be compared to the children and young people. If properly guided by the elders, they imbibe faith in God or spirituality. This is the proper time since there won't be any prejudices in them about life. As we grow we accumulate many traits and desires and without proper guidance, it is likely we will be slaves to our minds and senses and there is every possibility we may go astray. Hence the children and young people should learn about spirituality, religions and God so that they will not be lost in the earthly pleasures and activities. nagarajan.

As long as it is pure love for God in your heart, it doesn't matter how old you are. Some come to God at a young age, some don't have it until they are older. What we do with this love once we have it. That's important.

Yes, I agree with you, but the priorities are different to the Young. Mental MATURITY brings us near to GOD. Getting this maturity at a early age very rare.

I think you should learn about God at any age. It's just nice to start young, because it can keep you from making a lot of painful mistakes in life.

Yes,definitely, many think that let us enjoy our youth fully, and live sincerely when old. That is wrong. What will happen if God takes your life today.Do you expect that you will go to Heaven. If we truely love God,then we will give best of our everything to God first. Then youth is the time when you are capable of doing more work for God physically and spiritually ,so you must sacrifice ourselves to God instead of living worldy pleasures. In Bible even Moses took a firm decision that It is better to struggle with the children of Living God, then to have pleasure with people who worshipped False gods
