What is the theme in your kitchen?

Mine is apples.Anyone else have apples?

I don't really have a theme but my walls are red, table a dark wood, dishes and accessories are orange. I've also got some bamboo to hang on the wall as a chair rail or arm rail..whatever you call it. It really looks better than it sounds...everybody that sees it loves it.

I never really did come up with one. I suppose it is country minimalism. I have a few antique bottles, I think they are pharmaceutical bottles...dark brown and squarish. They are just empty in the window. I also have some blue mason jars in the window, empty. I have a small white milk pitcher on the sink with baking soda in it for quick scouring and deodorizing. I have a wicker basket for keys, wallet, and nicotine gum, and basic handy things. The rest is just my stuff out where I can use it, if it makes more sense to be out, or if I don't have room in the cabinets. I have a pretty small kitchen. I don't have room for a lot of decor unless it is out of the way or functional. I have a pretty towel under the dish drainer.

I also think cleanliness is quite the design theme. I love a clean kitchen.

I am learning to cut way back on the doodahs. It makes my life simpler and reduces visual chaos for me. Plus it is easier to clean.

In my kitchen/diner's cabinet I painted colour called cooking apple from farrow and ball, lovely colour that all I have apple in my kitchen, oh yes some apples in fruit bowl.

Green granite top, green floral ceramic tiles on walls, white marble flooring and green marble pattern cupboards and drawers.
