The increase in side effects may be withdrawal symptoms from the recent decrease in dosage and may pass withing a couple of weeks. You may want to talk to your doctor about trying a different medication.

I have to change medications every two years or so as I build a tolerance. My brain was injured in utero by a viral infection and the medication helps my brain "mimic" a normally structured organ. If you do not share structural anomalies in your brain, you may find the new medications more helpful and perhaps they may even restore the chemical activity to a normal state - permanently. Don't get too hopeful about that as it is rare.

I did just fine on Paxil for almost a year. Then I started getting those head "zaps" that I had read about. My doctor ended up changing my medication. Your symptoms may be from the changed dosage or you just might need to try something else. Only your doctor can help you decide.

I, too, had similar side effects from Paxil. I would call the doctor and ask if you can switch to something else.
