i think the best song for the bride and groom to dance to would be-celine dion...because u loved me! Listen to the words,it means soooo much. And for some advice on other songs to play throughout the evening why not get an album of love songs before hand and make a list of all the ones u and your fiance like then make a list for the must haves at the reception. Hope that helps-it worked for me. Congratulations to both of you...and speaking of which dont 4get to play that at the end.(congratulations..Cliff richard)

I am getting married in May and we are using My Best Friend by Tim McGraw. The lyrics are:
I never had no one
I could count on
I've been let down so many times
I was tired of hurtin'
So tired of searchin'
'Til you walked into my life
It was a feelin'
I'd never known
And for the first time
I didn't feel alone
You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Every time I look at you
I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend
You're my best friend, oh yeah
You stand by me
And you believe in me
Like nobody ever has
When my world goes crazy
You're right there to save me
You make me see how much I have
And I still tremble
When we touch
And oh the look in your eyes
When we make love
You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Every time I look at you
And I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend
You're my best friend

Our first song's going to be "grow old with me", originally a Beetle's song, but we're using the Mary Chapin Carpenter version. My girls and I are walking to Ben Harper's "Fire and Ice" and we've been making mixes of songs like "This year's love" by David Grey, "Better Together" by Jack Johnson, "Our House" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young...I could go on and on. Find something meaningful to you guys. I personally couldn't stand the idea of Shania Twain or Celine Dion being anywhere near our wedding, so...look through you and your fiance's music and look on i-tunes or even google love songs for some more original ideas.

Sorry cant think of any first dance songs but if you plan on having a dance with your father think about playing "Dance with my father" by luther vandross (Im not sure if i spelt that right.) I used that song and everyone cried. Good luck and the best of luck to you on your wedding day.

You and Me by Lifehouse. The One by Gary Allen. We are using At Last by Etta James as our first dance.
My favorite is Bring it On Home by Little Big Town but I think it's a remake. Fantastic song, even better lyrics.

I think that the most lovable song for a wedding would be FROM THIS MOMENT. It's so solemn, and the music itslef is like speaking so sincerely. Plus the melody is calm to set the love mood perfectly.

The best father daughter song would have to be " I Loved Her First" by Heartland.
