Are there any guys who would like to have a girl as a friend or do they all want more?

men and women can be friends. even though if she looks super good we might want to sleep with her. but for me personally my best friend is a girl and i like that if i meet a girl she tells me that she looks good or what i should wear on a date and she can listen to what i have to say. sex might come in the way but we are adults about it and never let friendship end because now a days a good friend is hard to come by

42 year old male answering here: My high school sweetheart and I broke up after dating for a year and a half. We saw each other a year later and dated again, broke up again. We did not see each other for a few years, then out of the blue I chose to contact her and for the last 10 years we have been the best of friends, almost like a sister and a brother. We have helped care and nurture one another through divorces and marriages too. So, YES, males and females can be friends. Oh, BTW, we have never done anything more than hold hands or kiss one another in all that time even. So, sex was never an issue.

No it is not true. Men can be a woman's best friend because they don't compete with you. They will give you honest answers about your appearance, relationships, etc. and they can give you a man's point of view. But be careful because society seems to have a problem with this and will gossip like crazy especially if you are in separate relationships.

I can count at least 20 guy friends that I have never had any type of romantic relationship with.
Yes, men can be friends with women, it's up to you not to let them cross that line because some of them will try.

No it is possible to be friends. I have friends that are girls that I have known for awhile, problem is I am starting to like them, I'm not talking want them for sex, I just mean really like them and would be interested in dating them. I have friends that are girls that I wouldn't date though. They are fun to hang out with and talk to but want totally different things in life. The ones I like are very compatible with me.

Its not true...I have been in the Military and i worked as a firefighter in civilian life and 99% of the people i worked with were male, a lot are my friends...

no its not true at all... i think it depends on where the two people involved life stages are at that time. now i always think that there is a initial attraction to a person at first. but it can evolve into a great plutonic relationship.
