How do you get the guts to approach a woman?

First off, Be confident. Most every person who wants to be with another person has to get over the fear of rejection. In my experience, you just have to approach a girl with the all or none mentality.

The thing is if you're walking down the street you have to decide whether you're either going to get this girl or not. You've got to remember that you have nothing to lose and they do. The thing is, you will make mistakes. Make the mistakes and the most important thing is to learn from them and not do it again. Apply what you've learned from past mistakes to future girls.

In terms of approaching women. Just go up to them and tell them that you think they look great. Then without interruption, introduce yourself and tell them that it took a lot of personal courage to get out of your shyness to tell them this. Tell them that's how great they look. Ask them their name and if they'd like to go out.

I was tired of being shy and just to get over being shy, I would just go up to women and ask/tell them for practice. Of course I would fail entirely or screw up by mumbling, or just freezing. But it took me courage, practice and putting my ego away. Now I'm proud of getting over my old problem.

The time is to do it now, before you feel like you're real old and have lost out on a lot of great potential experiences. Be positive and remember that despite what the girls say, you will be a better person because of your efforts. Always learn from your mistakes.
