Hello,

You must first get a green card before you can become a citizen. Your first start is to look for a U.S. employer who is willing to sponsor you for your green card. In order to sponsor you the employer would have to first prove to the department of labor that you are not displacing a U.S. worker by advertising for 2-6 months. If all goes well, the current processing times are about 6 years.

Search for a job in America and be employed as an engineer. After gaining employment in USA, you can now apply for an American citizenship. You just have to be decisive and patient for your American dream.
