The majority of those people seemed an odd combination of mean/boring.

I don't know sunman. I think it's like...a class in a school. Sometimes you have "just the right mix" of people that creates a nice atmosphere. We have intelligent people, smartasses and everything in between. We don't take ourselves too seriously and we don't let anyone else take themselves too seriously either. It's a nice mix :)

Well, how can we say, really? We have not invested the time to get to know the folks there - and some of them seemed to enjoy our little visit.

I know I did - that was a lot of fun. Thanks everyone!

Peace!

Yes, r&s rocks. I can be serious or playful
depending on my mood. I like it. Some nights, the questions and answers really flow. For some reason, this is where the action is. Why do you think that is?

-----that's a good way to put it.
Sorry everybody, if I've been more 'smartass' than intelligent. I'm still learning the art of balance.

I am usually in the R&S section because I love to talk about the Lord. But the past few days I've been else where because non-believers are very rude here. And Christians call gays horrible names. I think living a gay life is immoral because God says so & it's not natural but I don't call them names. And it's mostly the Christians the use the rude names for gays. Then back to the non-believers, many atheists are very rude here. They don't have to believe, That's their right. Just like it's my right to believe if I choose. I would like to stay in this section daily but I get frustrated because of all the name calling and down right immature rudeness. And it's in the Religious section. I would think to find more of that in politics. I've been there more lately. And Polls & Surveys for so laughs.

Yeah, the majority of the regular posters seem to have a good sense of humor about themselves and their views

If you want a horror show go over to the pet section and say you want to buy a teacup chihuahua for less than $200.

No doubt. The Politics section was like being on a new york subway. Those people need to lighten up.

When I started posting on this website, I did mainly Politics until I found R&S. This section is the most enjoyable.

You guys went over to the dark side in Politics didn't you? You've come back to the light side.

Despite how "nasty" it may seem in here, we really do get along - pretty much.

I think it works well. Most of us agree to disagree, and do so passionately, but respectufully. And, there are those time when we can "poke a little fun" at each other as well.

But, that is just my opinion. What do I know!?!lol

The "S" part, certainly.

Now I can't get "Good Vibrations" out of my head and the computer speakers are pinin' for the Fjords. Heck!

compared to the only other section I spend much time in, home schooling, yes, it's a friendlier bunch, even with all the acrimony.
