Not necessarily, its mostly because parents have lost their backbone to be parents and think of themselves as their child's best friend. They let them wear what the kid wants to no matter how revealing, they let them talk however they want to because to tell them NO might offend them or hurt their feelings. Then because of all this, the kids are experiencing sex a whole lot younger now, so the parent is worried and feels they have to have "The Talk" with the kid when they are like 10 and the kid learns all kinds of stuff and words that most of us didn't learn until we were at least 15. So the point I'm trying to make is that parents should be parents and maybe we wouldn't have 12 yr old girls running around dressed like she's 20 and speaking openly to whoever about her business. It sickens me to go to a mall and see the way girls are allowed to dress. Sure, my daughter may get mad at me when the time comes (she's 3 now) and I tell her to go change into something more appropriate, but oh well. When she is living under my roof and eating the food I pay for, she will abide by my rules or be punished for it. If there was more of this in America, a lot of the "problems" we have with teens today wouldn't be an issue.

I don't know about whether or not they are specifically getting early puberty but i do know they grow up much faster these days. they are taller and could very well be getting early periods due to the chemicals in our food now. as far as how fast they grow up, It's really societies fault, we have so many poor idols for our young girls, we have babies making babies, and a number of other things that were unheard of years ago, even before my time. I wish it wasn't so, I cringe knowing that my baby girl will more than likely be in a class with 10 year old who is smoking, little kids who are having sex, drinking, doing drugs. I suppose the best medicine is a good upbringing.

I think that kids are maturing alot earlier then 20 years ago. I did not start puberty until i was 13. My son who is turning 10 this year has girls in his class who are developing already.and wearing bras. My son is beginning to get pimples and hair on his legs are beginning to darken. I don't think there is much we can do, but inform our children what is going to occur to them in a way that is age appropriate. I believe that it is the diets and the increase of obesity that is making puberty occur alot earlier.

Yes! THere are even cases of early onset puberty as early as age six. I, myself started puberty when I was nine. And for some reason it is only for girls- boys are still deveoping at the same rate as fifty years ago. they blame this on enviormental chemicals. Here is a site that gives a little bit more explaination...

children are reaching physical puberty much earlier. it is not uncommon for 8 yr olds to start menstruation or 2 yr olds to develop breast tissue. boy are becoming more "manly" in appearance with the development of muscles and body hair.
consider the synthetic hormones added to the meats and milk products that our children ingest each day. the best case scenario are the food prepared for and fed to our school children each school day. the farmers receive many subsidies and assistance to provide the "nutritious" meals which our children eat making our children the largest group of human guinea pigs ever.

in basic terms somewhat. i think of the more suitable reason some each and every person is obese is using the fact some people do no longer exercising in any respect and as a replace take a seat in front of the laptop and tv all day. some people do have a clinical subject in spite of the shown fact that that makes them obese. i think of that the chemical components in meat do make infants mature swifter noticeably the girls and that i think of that there are some women that are maturing swifter because of the fact they are doing issues to their bodies from an early age that messes up their hormones.

Yes, and part of the reason for that is the high fat diet we consume. For girls to start puberty and get their periods, there has to be a certain amount of body fat, and since more and more children are obese, puberty is happening sooner.
