You have read my mind! I have often wondered the very same thing. I mean, you look at their vehicle, you know the damned switch works.... what the H*ll!!! And they either never even look at you as though you are not there (and if thats not scary already!), or they give you some retarded look as if to say, "what??? what???? huh???" I mean what is wrong with these lazy freakin ....never mind.... I better quit now before I get a violation by one of "those" people who do not know how to signal, or WHO ARE JUST TOO LAZY TO LIFT THEIR LITTLE FINGER AND MOVE IT 2" TO MOVE A SWITCH ABOUT ANOTHER HALF INCH!!!!
Sorry, I get a little "enthusiastic" on the topic of bad drivers.
Thanks for letting me get that out for the day.
Have a wonderful day and be careful out on that road.
Bye!

I'm always saying that they don't make cars like they used to anymore...ALL these turn signals that malfunction! Besides, enough are driving at 45 degree angles anymore over 6 lanes of traffic, so maybe it would seem better to illuminate a number instead of just a mere little signal. Just don't get me started about stop sign crashers or the creative choo choo train effect, that is, multiple vehicles running red lights together so the other side has to wait another signal sequence or two before there is opportunity.

Hell if I know! That drives me crazy too, I even make sure more so to do it myself. I hate it so much I don't even want to do it. lol. I was taught how to drive by a driving instructor for a 6 hour driving course over a 3 day span. He was very efficient with every rule of the road. So I always kept that in mind as I drove, signaling was a big one. I don't think some people have good instruction when it comes to driving, but for the most part I think people are lazy jerks. lol.

1. If the lane is marked with arrows they figure you should already know.
2. The noise of the signal is annoying to them
3. If they just hit the breaks and turn without signaling that is really dangerous for everyone.
Dee Dee had a good point. If you try and get in a lane of heavy traffic and use your signal they'll speed up and not let you in for the heck of it and that's mean and dangerous. Unfortunately I have had to do this especially if the lane ends and your not familiar with the town, it seems to be the lesser of the two evils.

It is essential, easy to do and for the general safety of the driver and other road users, however, other drivers seem to forget it because of the HABIT of not turning it on when they see no approaching vehicle on their front, side and rear view mirror. When we turn to any side, we have to practice turning the switch on even when theres no approaching vehicle, so that it will become an instinct and automatic on our mental system.

They are either too busy on the phone or don't know how to drive. What I like to do is to change lanes, then cut that person off without signaling either and start stomping on my brakes to piss them off.

Sometimes their turn signals don't work. My turn signal lever in my car is broken right now and I almost have the money to fix it but for now my turn signals don't always work. I move the lever every time because I'm not lazy but they just don't always work. So, next time you see that person not using their turn signals, it actually could be technical difficulties!

because only i need to know where i'm going, its none of your buisness.
either that, or its because most people arent super multi taskers and are flat out trying to drive let alone worrying about such hassles as indicating to prevent being run over by that 18 wheeler that in the lane to their left.
failing those two option, STUPIDITY
