Years ago, after a few serious relationships failed and I was single, I started dating a man I'd been friends with forever. We actually had the above discussion within the first weeks of dating. My conclusion was choose the person you love. I had always stayed with the guys who had shown deep interest for me first and that just wasn't working!
Of course we fell for each other, both choosing the one we love and it's worked out great!

Neither. It's better to be alone than in a one sided relationship. Since you didn't mention it, I have to assume the one you love has questionable feelings for you, and you have questionable feelings for the one who loves you. When it's right, it will be completely mutual.

If I had to choose, I would choose the person that loved me. At least I would know that he cared and you would have the same feelings back

if the person i loved loves me back for sure i will choose my love but if that other persondont share my love back so be the person who loves me...i might love the person back who knows it takes a lil time.

the person i LOVE because the now and present is important than living in the past. besides, there's plenty of people that i LOVED but there's a reason why i LOVED them and not LOVE them.
