I would really like to impress him with my $12,900 aircraft. But that seems unlikely.

I am being truthful. I was just trying to be funny. My neighbor really does have a R22, however, I understand that I would need an aircraft carrier to land a fixed wing aircraft.

I am based out of Page, Arizona. FBO is Classic Aviation.

You can get your Cessna down to about 40 can't you? Power up that houseboat of yours so it'll do 20, get someone to head it into a 25 knot headwind, and just fly the plane onto the roof.
The trouble will be of course, getting the houseboat up to 20, and getting the plane back off. Yo'll have to drive the boat around with the plane on it for a bit, just to show off, and then wait for similar conditions to fly it off.
Practice your slow flight technique, and remember that you won't get any ground effect from the boat, but you will get some turbulence from the disturbance over the front of it.

I can only assume your neighbor's "R22" is a helicopter and you wish to land a C-150 on a houseboat. This question tells me that you have no business flying. Hope you have a long houseboat and a strong headwind if you try such a stupid stunt. I can't believe anybody would ask such an obviously ignorant question. Please, before trying such a stunt, allow me to insure you and I promise to share with your family.

To be frank, If you really owned a 150, you would know its landing distances required for all conditions. Unless you have a house boat over 1075'long. I submit you are not being truthful.

A C-150? Get a Storche (WW II German VSTOL)! They require practically nothing... Float your boat on Lake Meade... Plenty of room there. 17 Kts coming across your bow...

For being what I would consider smart enough to have a pilot license, you sure do ask some awfully stupid questions and say some ridiculous things.
