Yes you can file your own taxes. In fact, you should file your own taxes. If you had taxes withheld from your wages, you are probably entitled to a refund. If this is all unearned income, then you would be required to file a tax return.

If $400 or more of this income was from self-employment, you'd have to file since you would owe some self-employment tax. Otherwise you wouldn't have to, but if anything was withheld for federal income tax, you should file to get it refunded to you.
You'll check the box on your return that says you can be claimed as a dependent, and won't get an exemption for yourself, but you will get the standard deduction and that will more than take care of the income you have to take it down to zero taxable income.

Yes. My parents could claim me when I was younger and I still filed my own taxes. I think there is a question that asks if you can be claimed by anyone else. Call one of those tax places like Jackson Hewitt and ask them, they should be able to tell you exactly.

Yes, you can - and should - file your taxes. You just can't take the standard deduction since you are being claimed by your parents.

Yes, there is a question if anyone else has claimed you. If the answer is yes, there is a small worksheet that you use to determine the deduction that you take for yourself, then you proceed as normal.

You can file your own taxes but with this income, you will not receive much and letting someone else carry you is up to you if it is a parent, other wise file your own taxes.
