What is an easy and inexpensive french vinaigrette? It has to go well with meats. Thanks

The French use a mustard vinagrette. Take about a teaspoon of dijon mustard, and mix with equal parts olive oil and vinegar. Whip with a fork until blended. Easy as you please, and very tasty.

Take 1/3 cup red wine vinegar, 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme, and whisk until emulsified.

well i'm not sure if it goes well with meat haven't tried it but mix red wine vinegar with olive oil. add some pepper and kosher salt. maybe some other large spices. i found my recipe on the bottle of pompeii red wine vinegar. i hope this helps.

i don't know if its french... but balsamic vinegar goes with meat... you can always add a little extra virgin olive oil and whip it to mix and then put on meat... you can add just about any seasonings to vinegar to season it up happy eating!
