Contrary to what most people think, Love is not a feeling. Love is feeling and wanting and sacrificing and being patient. I don't know if you are a religious person or not, but the best description of love is found in the bible. Corinthians 13. I used to wonder the same thing and then this brought a new revelation to my mind. You really must feel this way about yourself before you can love someone else. Many times we confuse lust with love and it is very easy to do in our society. Thus, we have high divorce rates, high abuse rates, high death rates from spouses and lovers, and STD rates. These all start from people thinking they are in love without taking the time to research it. Most people spend more time picking out and saving for a car, house, or college than they do before sleeping with someone. I hope that you take the time to analyze before committing to something that you are not sure of or ready to handle. Good Luck!!!

Our first attraction is often physical attraction, then when that wears off and that he/she makes you feel like a better person that can be love. You can't love others until you love yourself. Unconditional love would be that for a parent or child, no matter what they do you will not always like their ways, but you will love them anyway.
