Being an Indian citizen will immigration be granted to me and after how long would I be able to settle down with him in the US?

You need to call immigration department for that info. You don't specify if the marriage is taking place in India or USA, I believe you mean your marrying in India and you are a citizen-so when you go to the USA you need your Visa and then it will be for a certain time period,during that time you can apply for US citizenship and then you can stay without having to go back all the time. Call for "right on" information so you are not misled, I am just surmising.

No will not be given to you. U must go through immigration papers. If caught here illegal will be sent back to India regardless if husband is here or if u have kids here. I know Bush is messed up!!!

You need to visit the U.S. Consulate closest to you and explain your situation.

They'll likely give you a temp-visa, and require that you return with the marriage certificate to apply for permanent residency.

I don't think we have anymore room, we still have to deal with the Illegals that are currently here. So it might be a real loooong time.
