What make teeth so sensitive to cold stuff? And why does it only effect some people?

like whenever i drink super clod water, or bite down on a popscile, my teeth hurt. But what causes sensitvity to cold in some but not others.

teeth can become sensitive for a lot of reasons, for example the enamel is wearing thin due to vigorous brushing. You can visit a dentist . First try a sensitve tooth paste. These can work really well in reducing sensitivity in teeth.
of course one assumes that your teeth are generally healthy other wise.
