I am not saying I do, but if I did get trashed almost every weekend *no blackouts, or throwing up*, and never run into trouble with the law and got into a really good school and do well in school, does it matter if I drink a lot? You know, assuming I do. Which I don't.

Sweetie, you already know the answer to your question, and ASSUMING you don't drink, why would you even want to start? When you turn legal age, you will have the choice to start drinking and get trashed and see the inside of a toilet bowel more often than you would like to, or just have a social drink, which means one or two drinks. Never get plastered and drive>>> you are looking for a car wreck and the possibility of killing some innocent person and waking up in a hospital unable to walk because you were injured so severely, you will never be able to walk again. I presume you are a young person because of the question, and I also presume you have already had the experience of the descriptive words in your question. Please stay sober and remember, you don't have to get high on drugs or alcohol to have a good time, in fact, my answer to you is get high on LIFE.

Yes it is bad to drink if underage. It's bad to drink at ANY age if it's in excess. And drinking to the point of being "trashed" every single weekend would be considered in excess. The younger you start, the more time the alcohol has to do damage to your body. Even if (and that's a big "IF") you do well in other aspects of your life (job, school, social life, etc.) what good is that if you are lying in a hospital bed waiting for a liver transplant by the time you're 30? Choice is yours. :)

It might be bad for your liver & kidneys, but same if you were over the legal drinking age. The drining age is just there because thats the age they say you are mature enough to handle yourself at. Also your body mass will be less able to handle it, but if you drink every weekend it will get used to it unless you overdose. And you probalby have more of a chance of becoming an achohalic when your older. but othere than that its not bad, i am underage and i drink.

I don't know how old you are, but to be honest I cannot believe the legal drinking age in America is 21. In Australia and in many countries around the world the legal age is 18. I think drinking at the age of 18 is fine. What are you supposed to do at university? Just learn, I don't think so. Your supposed to have fun as well. It's called a balanced lifestyle.

Good luck and have fun what ever you do!

well if you drink a lot at a young age you are at a much higher risk for that liver disease thing. but if you drink in moderation, i don't think its bad. I mean kids do it all the time. especially outside the u.s. and they are healthier than americans. I also think that if you teach youngsters to drink responsibly at a younger age, its better cause they won't go on a drinking binge when they finally become of age.

Yes it's bad. It will take all the fun out of life later on when you really need to drink to destress and have fun (think adulthood and working problems). You are still young and I hardly believe that your problems are debilitating enough to warrant drinking as an outlet. Pick healthier habits and stick with them.

If you get into a car with someone drunk, get into bed and have unprotected sex, stumble out into traffic, do stupid things...etc...you can really affect the rest of your life.
I would have to say that underage drinking is a part of growing up. Everyone has done it in some capacity. Its up to you how much, with whom, and if your prepared to accept the consequences.
