There's absolutely nothing you can do to get taller. Period, end of story.
However, you can work on your vertical jump height. I don't know what specifically you can do because I've never tried it. Ask your basketball coach.
Good luck.

Although I can't help you with your height problem I can help you with your jumping. Go through a strength training program that is specifically for your legs. Eastbay has some calf strengthening shoes that help your calf muscles grow b/c there is no heel to the shoe. With no heel you are putting three times your body weight onto your calf muscles. This will make them grow at a tremendous rate epecially when used in weight training and jump roping. The other students may try to talk about you when they first see you but when they see you fly through the air for a rebound or dunk on them that will shut them up quickly guaranteed.

Sounds like me when I was 15! You are lucky for being big boned, that is definately an advantage! Sounds like your growth spurt just hasnt happen yet. Do not do anything extreme, like taking hardcore supplements..this could affect your growth. Performing "hang stretches" from a chin up bar will help stretch your body and back. Take a multi vitamin daily and drink plenty of milk. Calcium is vital for bone growth! Additionally your max height has alot to do with your parents. So if they are tall, you will be too!

Mostly its genetic, there's not much you can do if you're at the end of your growth period. But just to try you should try to sleep more(your body grows when sleeping), drink plenty of milk, and do back stretches.

If you havent grown much in the past year, you might have maxed out. Talk to your doctor if you could be a candidate for growth hormone.
