anyone know if they will have to do a root canal on this tooth and if they have to put in a filling will they be able to match my tooth..

They don't do root canals for cavities per se. Yes, they can match tooth color.... make sure that you approve the match. Good luck.

You shouldn't need a root canal unless the cavity is really bad. If you get a root canal, you will get a crown put on the tooth which will match your teeth color exactly and if you just get a filling, of course they will also match the color.

I have a filling in my top front tooth. The tooth was driiled from the back so you don't see the filling. As far as a root canal goes I'm not sure. All I do know is that the needle to numb the tooth is given in the roof of your mouth and it hurt like crazy! Good luck
