The best for what? Defiine American South. I've listed several colleges that I think are pretty good, and that I think are in the south. Check their websites to see if they have what you need. This list is personal and not based on a list of "best" colleges (except in my mind), so take it with a grain of salt. I think you'll find that most of the schools here are highly regarded.
