What did you do today as a random act of kindness. Thanks in advance for actually doing a RAK.

Give free advice on yahoo answers and hopefully help someone, even tho I'm completely aware that some people only listen what they want to hear and may follow wrong advice instead......

And I cooked a really good chicken soup for my dad today, I love my dad :-) so I guess is not totally random, but still an act of kindness....

Actually, not only today but for 40+ years, vacuumed living room, started supper for when wife comes home, greeted her at door with slight hug, smile, asking how her day was. Now other days, do the dusting, cleaning all dishes utensils. See many men let it up to the misses, I did at first for a short time, but now, think nothing of it, love cooking and doing the chores makes me feel that I contribute and not let all household left to a working woman.sometimes do the ironing, washing put clothes in dryer, fold and yes, do hang some clothes out on washline. don't mind a bit

First and farmost I think you are a great person too and that you took the time to answer a rather rhetorical question. I asked it on a whim..yanno just because. I didnt expect answers that were actually nice..hahaha..now kindness acts..I may my daughters lunch and she is quite capable of doing it herself. I took a few minutes and chatted with my mail delivery lady..I said good morning to 3 people I didnt know this morning and wished them a pleasant day. I thanked God for looking out for me. I typed this answer all on my own! :) They day is still very young. back to you sweetie!

None. An old lady just entered the doorway asking for some help to eat. She was with a cane and dirty and hungry so I gave her a dollar. She was more kind to me than I was to her so that doesnt count as an act of kindness on my part. Especcially since it was no sweat on my part to do. Maybe later.

I held the door for an elderly lady at the doctors office. Though I don't think this is a random act of kindness, more along the lines of good manors...

I stood up for a co-worker who had a relevant issue and was being beaten down by a couple people in a meeting about something really simple.
People need to learn to coose their battles.

I like that you look for RAC everyday. I dont think about them during the day but journal them every evening.

I entertained a delusional woman who thought that she looked thirty four at the age of fifty four. In all actuality while she certainly looked young for her age, she didn't look as young as she thinks she does, but I spared her the truth and allowed her to walk away with her delusion in tact. Does that count?

Nothing yet, but your question has inspired me. I am going out right now to buy the things I need to make my husband's favorite dinner. Maybe I'll even call my mom ;-)

I let a guy go in front of me in line at the coffee shop this morning. He looked like he was in a bigger hurry than I.
