Please somebody help me I shut my cats tail in the door and the fur came odd and just the white part is sticking up someone plase help I don't want my cat to do please anyone.

If just the fur came off but no blood and the bone is the shape like its supposed to be(not broken) then more than likely your cat will be OK. If the cat allows you to gently pet her and talk softly to her and look at the bone to check for kinks or breaks-to make sure . I'd get some cool but not too cold-room temperature water and swish some soap to make it a little bit soapy and gently dribble on the bone(to clean) if there is blood especially do his for you do not wish to get it infectd. Do Not use a cloth oranything on the bone but just gently dribble the water on it-have a tovwel underneath to catch the dripping water and do not Dry for NOTHING should rub against the bone. Call Your Vet-even though the office is closed there is a Emergency number given when you call after hours. You can also call a 24hr Emergency Clinic(in the yellow pages and they also will advise you on the phone what to do. But I would certainly take the Cat to the Vet first opportunity to make sure no break and no tears to cause a infection for you do not want a infection in the bone which can be very painful and very serious for your cat. Feel sorry for the cat for must have really hurt-wonder why you didn't notice when she first yowled for cat must have been screaming. Believe she'll be ok but call important you call the vet for only a vet can tell for sure what needs to be done.

Sounds like the bone is sticking out..maybe you cut part of your cats tail off? If that's the case you should take him to an emergency vet right away!

If there is bone visible then get to the nearest 24hr clinic. They will most likely need to amputate the tail. If you get there soon enough they may be able to save a portion of it though. Tail injuries can be pretty painful so the sooner you can your cat to the vet the better. Don't try to bandage it up yourself, you may do more harm than good.

I'd take the cat to the vet no matter how it looks. Sometimes the tail will need to be removed and you don't want it to get infected or anything. Just go to the vet.

the white part is sticking up? what do you mean exactly? was it the tip of his tail or the main part? is he crying? is it hanging or is it still straight? Does it look odd? Is he carrying it funny? we need more info! The best thing is to take him to the vet.
okay I don't think he will die -- is there blood? is he bleeding alot? Please find a 24hour vet service to take him so they can take care of him... I wouldn't want to go with a broken arm or leg till morning

Take it to the vet. Most likely they will have to cut that part of the tail off if its like only bone. But take it to the vet and try and keep its tail out of anything to keep dirt out so no infetion settles in.

If just the fur came off not to worry about it...Your cat won't die from a skinned tail...If you notice over the next couple of days any redness or swelling in that area than take her to the vet...

ok take kitty to the vet. just a check up right cos sometimes that can break stuff. like its tail. you need to take your cat to th vet for any health concerns. do it today if you can or tomorrow. take special care of kitty. and the door thing...that happens quite a bit..just gotta keep a look out.

You may have injured it badly...If it is not right in 1 day then try visiting your vet because the faster the vet heals it the better your cat will be...!!!

You may have broken it's tail. Does he seem to be in pain? If he broke it, you will want the vet to take a look
at it. If you just bruised it, it'll be fine.
