Is it ok to leave a two 10 week boxer puppies outside the house during the day (8-5)? The puppies will be placed on the deck and it will be fenced in all four corners so nothing happens. Also, the weather will be usually 65-75 degrees (I live in California).
At night, the puppies sleeps in the garage, but I am worried that while I am at work, the puppies will pee and poop soo much, that they will be covered in it by the time i get back. Plus, there will be more space for them to place and run.
Crate training will not work because they cannot hold going to the bathroom for 8 hours....so is leaving them outside ok???

In 65-75 degree weather, those puppies should absolutely THRIVE outside. I DO NOT recommend EVER leaving them in a garage during the day-They could get too hot, become dehydrated and die within just hours. Outside should be great for them, though the area may have to be cleaned from feces every day. :-) (make sure they can't get out, ok?)

It's really not a good idea to leave two young Boxer pups outside for 8 hours. They won't be covered in poop by the time you get home but your deck will be!
I also don't agree with you leaving two small, young, Boxer puppies outside in the garage at night. Boxers need to be wit human companionship and hate being alone without someone (a human) to play with and to be affectionate with. Why don't you let them inside during the night time? You may not want to deal with cleaning poop and getting up every 2 hours to housebreak them both but they can't be left in the garage. It's really cruel for the puppies. As you would know, socialized Boxers are very affectionate and love people and other animals. Non-socialized Boxers can have many aggression problems.
You can't expect two young pups who are not housebroken and know no better to be able to wait 8 hours in a crate so you can conveniently take them out for a potty break. They need to be taken out at minimum 2 hours each time. Is there any way you can leave them in a crate but come home for a lunch break to let them out of the crate?
EDIT: I agree with the person below me. Why have two beautiful Boxer puppies when you spend so little time with them? Actually, why have a dog at all when your schedule is so packed? Dogs crave love, attention and human companionship. They hate to be isolated from their human friends and when they are, they usually end up with major aggression problems when they are older. Please reconsider your choice to leave the pups in the garage.

I also do not agree with leaving the puppies outside, or even in the garage at night,. Why are they in the garage? I have a Boxer and if I shut him away on the night he would be so sad. Boxers crave human attention and affection. They need to socialised from a very young age as all that engery they have can turn to agression if they are not nutured. Really you need to have a re-think, why have 2 beautiful puppies and spend so such time away from them? I wish you luck with them.

I do not recomend leaving your puppies outside. I have a boxer and i would put him in the bathroom with newspaper down on the floor. He took to the news paper right away. I live in southern california and the weather is very unpredictable and your puppies are still young. Good luck boxers are wonderful dogs and such a joy.

Carefull about leaving the dogs outside. I am not saying this for health reasons, iam sure the temp is fine and as long as they can get out of the rain and have water no problem. However, and it happens a lot here in Florida, dogs get stolen. Especially pure breds. Often after a televised dog show, the breed that wins best of show is a target for thiefs. I myself would not do it, for fear they would be gone when I got home.

When do they have human training & contact? Very important for a puppy to be socialized & to behave properly.
Crate training should work, it did for mine. You just have to be sure to take them out before leaving for work & control what they eat & drink in the 8 hrs you are gone and immediatly take them out apon your return. Later when they are older put in a dog door & leave food & water down.

That is the whole idea behind crate training. They will learn to hold it because they don't like to be covered in it. It is a pain for you for awhile because you have to clean them, but that is what you are going to have to do until they are trained. IMHO, I don't think it is a good idea to leave them outside all day.
