HI, I am 16 and I am a girl. I like my bestfriend a lot. I invited him once to the movie theater like a date but at the last moment we didn't go but he agreed to go. If I ask him to again supposing that he goes......... should I tell him how I feel about him? or do you think he wouldn't go to to the movie theater with me anyomore knowing that I like him? thanks!

girl its a "catch 22" it all depends on the guy. if hes the type that gets uncomfortable easily then maybe you should let things be. but im a strong believer in open and honest. if hes your friend he wont let that effect your relationship. who knows maybe you will find out he likes you too.

It is at least worth another go, but I wouldn't tell him all at once. You have to gradualy let him mull the idea over. You cannot just love someone all at once, because you have to work at love. You have to show him that you want the relationship to go in one direction. You do not have to start off with a date. You have to give him some warning as to what you want to happen. I mean if you went up to a stranger and said hay you want to get married they would be so shocked they would say no out of reaction. Now obviously this is not as extreme, but it still applies to the same rules. You don't just get maried on a whim and you don't just start a relationship out of the bule. It is lucky that you are already friends so that you can start to show him that you like him as more than just friends and see how he reacts. You have to wach for your opportunity and take it.

Yes, of course. He's going to the movies with you for a reason ... how do you know that he's not the one with the crush and afraid to say it. The answer is either yes or no ... once you know you can put it to rest. Good luck!

If you like someone, then you like them, whether they know it or not. You may as well get it all out in the open. Whether he feels the same or not, at least you will be honest with him and yourself. You'll never know unless you try.
