If you mean humanity is a problem, no. There is nothing sacred about anything else in the universe either, although we do like to study things a bit before we mess them up, just for the sake of understanding. If anything, humanity seems to be most hazardous to itself. I suppose you could characterize it as an auto-immune virus.

A virus is a infectious agent that replicates only within the cells of living hosts.
The human race is a living complex adaptive system of organs that influence each other in such a way that they function in some way as a stable whole.

A virus has no nerves. I wouldnt go that far... But seriously, i dont think the question of evolution ever will get answered as we evolve per se. Sometime soon, say a twist of time and a crunch of space later, another superior race will ask the same question, but definitely in some other strangely semantic verbosity. Which will make sense, one way or the other.

A human More like a cell in the universe, rather a stem cell. There is no purpose to being a stem cell, but together it forms different cells for different reasons, possibility to serve as different function of the universe.
However, external objects can cause harm to individual cells by making it cancerous. In that view, godlike religion spreading unfounded thought without proof and insisting on others to believe is like a cancerous cell, it slowly build up to inflect other cells destorying the main host.

The atheistic view of evolution? What the hell is that? Why is it not the scientific view of evolution?
Do you know what a virus is? Why do you draw this analogy? What are the similarities, to your mind, between us and viruses?
Do some research, figure it out.

Thank you for using your God given intelligence. So that obviously doesn't make sense so if one is intelligent they can see that all energy comes from the energetic. The Supreme Energetic is God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. Even if they want to say the universe started with a big bang it is only intelligent to say someone made that bang and that would be God.

Well, no, because a virus is a protein that takes over the duplication mechanism of a cell to propagate itself.
We don't really do that, so much.
Although, uhh, speak for yourself. I guess. And stay away from my cells' duplication mechanisms.

Any being being conscious is worth living. That does not count for a virus.

We are what we are. Of course that is the reasoning and justification for creating religion, to pretend that we are in some way special.
